And So The Brief Was Born

AND SO THE BRIEF WAS BORN

In the early 20th century children wore long wool long johns which were uncomfortable and unhygienic. To invent the brief in 1918, all it took was a good pair of scissors.
They were then produced in a washable, sturdy cotton fabric, the likes of which had never been seen before, winning the Grand Prize for Innovation at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
