The Groupe Rocher’s teams in support of medical staff and their quarantined customers

Production of hydroalcoholic gels (Yves Rocher), manufacture of masks (Petit Bateau) and disinfectant products (Stanhome). The teams of the different Group Rocher brands are committed to supporting the healthcare teams fighting on the front line against the COVID-19 epidemic and to serving their customers who are enduring their quarantine measures.

As the COVID-19 epidemic currently hitting the world calls for the mobilization of everyone to the best of their abilities, the Groupe Rocher brand teams offered their services to the authorities as soon as the first measures were taken by the government. Indeed, many of the industrial activities of the Groupe Rocher brands (Yves Rocher, Petit Bateau, Stanhome, etc.) have been put to work in the fight against the virus.

According to Bris Rocher, CEO of the family-owned group, this willingness to get involved is in the “DNA of the Rocher Group“: “Commitment to society has been at the heart of our group’s identity since it was founded 60 years ago by my grandfather. He demonstrated this by his lifelong commitment to his region and its inhabitants, particularly in the town of La Gacilly where our head office is still located. He carried a vision of a committed company, turned towards others and in solidarity with society. ยป

During the week of March 16, the Group’s factories in Brittany provided local hospitals with bottles and raw materials to manufacture hydroalcoholic gels. At the same time, a reorganization was carried out in these same plants in order to redirect their production towards the manufacture of hydroalcoholic gels. Objective achieved for the week of March 23rd: Groupe Rocher’s factories produce bottles of hydroalcoholic gels for the university hospitals in the Brittany region.

Same commitment from the Petit Bateau teams. Last week, in coordination with other textile manufacturers in the department of Aube – where the brand’s headquarters are located – volunteer employees made masks in their workshops for the benefit of the Regional Health Agency, which oversees regional needs. So that, the number of products could have increased the following week. “I am extremely proud of the voluntary commitment of Petit Bateau employees to meet the emergency needs of the medical staff. They are our pride at Group Rocher,” says Bris Rocher.

Whether they are remotely working or physically active on the sites, Yves Rocher and Stanhome brands maintain their activities as much as possible. They are at the service of their quarantined customers and are in the strictest compliance with respect to hygiene measures. at the service of their confined customers and that in the strictest compliance with hygiene barrier measures. Soaps, washing and skincare products, home disinfectants, etc. are all products that become vital during this pandemic crisis.

Against the backdrop of a crisis of unprecedented brutality, the Groupe Rocher would like to thank all our employees for their efforts in the service of the common good, without forgetting all our partners, without whom nothing would be possible!
