Petit Bateau t-shirts are immediately recognisable by their quality finish:
the above average stitch density, which makes for a sturdier garment and the signature stitch detail (a “picot” stitch provides a loose loop finish on the neckline and the “cocotte” stitch a scalloped edge using a machine that was specially invented by Petit Bateau in the 1960s).
