October 2, 2019 – Porsche Design VIP’s journeyed through time and discovered the unique history and future of Porsche Design. The event sought to highlight the heritage of the Porsche Design brand by closely associating it with the Porsche 911 car.
Four vintage Porsche 911 cars were part of the highlights of the event: 1974 Porsche 911 Safari, a 1983 Porsche 911 SC RS, a gray 1968 Porsche 911 Targa and a 1992 RWB Noah Porsche 911.
Functionality and Form
We want our customers to understand that the Porsche Design collection is inspired by the design ingenuity of Professor FA Porsche. It was Professor Porsche who famously quipped, ‘If you analyze the function of an object, its form often becomes obvious.’ Functionality and form go hand in hand for all of Porsche Design’s products.

Fall Winter 2019 Collection
The collection is an expression of personal freedom, authenticity, and the courage to perform. As a key element of the collection, the featured patterns used also draw inspiration largely from Porsche cars such as the seat belt material used in the jackets, and the quilted finish-on pieces seen in car seats.
